What is Coaching?

Coaching is the practice of using a professional to help you actualize and reach your goals in life or as an organization. Coaches come in many forms and are often also called consultants, but they are not therapists and should not be treated as such. But, with that said, any good coach will be there to support you along the way which includes providing honest feed back, strong boundary training, and healthy emotional and peer support. Having a Life Coach can help in many ways: being an accountability agent, researcher, spiritual & relationship advisors, as well as helping provide everyday life skills! HCC is also proficient in organizational coaching practices with churches and other nonprofit bodies. Some of the work we do is conflict resolution, new policy implementation, constitution and bylaw creation, as well as policy review!

How to Book a Session

Booking with High Country Coaching is simple. You just reach out through our contact page! After that, we will call or email you to set up a time that works for you, and then you pay the required fee on our payment page.

What is a session like?

The first initial session is a basic intake where you give your coach some background information so they can help you develop a plan to address whatever issues you are bringing to the table. Sometimes this will require multiple sessions, such as developing a deeper authentic spiritual connection to a religious tradition. Other times this could be a one-and-done thing, like writing a resumee. It really just depends on what your specific needs are and what goals you want to accomplish.

Sessions last an hour, and the Coach focuses on whatever needs you bring in that time. But, on average, most coaching sessions last an hour unless more time is booked.

What does a session Cost?

Sessions are broken up between personal and organizational. Personal sessions deal with an individual's issues while a organizational session deals with issues which related directly to an organization or business.

Disclosure

Please understand that if your coaching will involve an unusual increase in the amount of time to address your concerns, we may need to discuss a deviation from the standard fees. For example, guided research and implementation of a business plan is a very costly practice and a session may go as high as $150.00 per session, while consulting for a church may go as high as $400.00 especially if confit-mediation is required.

For each additional 30 minutes of coaching desired, add $40.00 for personal and $60.00 for organizational.

High Country Coaching does have a sliding scale fee and a pro bono option for those who are in financial hardship, but this does require proving income data as proof and is at the sole discretion of High Country Coaching.
